Unemployment Rate Begins to Drop In November, total non-farm payroll increased by 199,000 and the overall unemployment rate decreased to 3.7%. This is an increase over last month and is a result of workers returning to work after strikes. Transportation and Warehousing lost around 5000 jobs this month and is down 61,000 people since October of 2022.
